London Child Psychology Practice works with a range of nurseries, schools, (primary and secondary stages), colleges and universities. We offer a comprehensive range of consultative services to both independent and local authority schools and nurseries, including:

 

• Consultation and advice to teachers, Teaching Assistants and SENCOs for individuals, class and/or whole        school issues

• School-based individual and group assessments; including emotional, behavioural and learning

• Assessments for Special exam arrangements (schools and FE)

• Dyslexia an dyscalculia assessments

• Attendance at meetings with parents and other professionals, such as Annual Reviews for statemented     children, Team Around the Child, Behaviour Support and Child Protection meetings

• Observation in the school environment; classroom or individually

• Support in writing IEP’s, BSPs and Statements

• Multidisciplinary assessment and SEN Support packages: offering assessment, advice and support with a   combination of Educational Psychology,Occupational therapy and Speech and Language therapy directly to       schools 

• Behaviour Support and Resilency Projects: for individuals, whole class or particular year groups

• Advice on strategic development in relation to specific departments or whole school development plan

• School-based training: staff development, CPD opportunities, workshops, seminars, drop in surgeries for         staff and inset sessions

• School-based individual and group therapy
